The architecture keeps systems authoritative, gives memory a private scope and connects the judgment around work.
Keep the thread
Every application holds a piece of work. Email has the request, documents have a version, records have an owner, chat has a decision, finance has a cost and tasks have what happens next. Operating memory connects the judgment between those traces: why an option won, which evidence was missing, who approved it and what should happen when the situation returns.
Morpheus sits above the systems a business already uses. Context flows up from systems and surfaces where people work. Prepared and approved work flows back to the system that owns it. The system of record remains authoritative; the operating layer carries reasoning, evidence, approvals, artifacts and unresolved state.
Boundaries that scale
One organisation can use one or many instances. Each instance can contain one or many workspaces, and each workspace can run one or many playbooks. An international business can separate regional operations into their own instances while organising teams, clients or functions into workspaces inside each region.
A playbook is the execution contract for a workflow: required information, reachable systems, expected output, stop point, approver and retained state. An instance is an operating and billing boundary for a business unit or customer. A workspace scopes a team, client or function. A workflow holds one governed piece of repeated work. A capability is a proven workflow callable under policy. The Mesh provides the connection between instances; its capability-call model is designed to exchange approved results while each instance retains its own private memory.
Regional obligations give the hierarchy practical force. The pattern is one instance per region, with its own application, database and resident memory. Approved results, decisions or answers may cross where policy permits, while each instance’s private memory remains in its boundary.
Current Mesh status: instance connectivity is running on customer zero. Cross-instance capability calls are in development. Australia is live; US instances are provisioned per engagement at onboarding.
Where work appears
Operating memory meets the team where the team already works. A run may begin in chat, email or voice, with the conversation carrying its scoped context. A client, broker or partner may receive a governed portal, calculator or review queue. Those surfaces can be versioned, permissioned and revoked, while a channel’s grant ceiling defines what it can reach.
Reflection and oversight have separate jobs. Cortex compares activity, outcomes and prior beliefs, making changes and weak assumptions visible. Eye surfaces what Morpheus believes, what conflicts and what waits for a person. The person decides what is accepted, corrected, pruned or allowed to shape live work.
The operating objects
The product performs three connected jobs. Remember holds facts, evidence, decisions, assumptions, approvals, artifacts, unresolved risks and next actions with scope and provenance. Govern makes authority visible through evidence rooms, decision rooms, approval trails and an objective hierarchy. Execute packages the workflow, artifact model, approval model, retained state and autonomy boundary.
An evidence room keeps sources and gaps together when someone asks why. A decision room keeps the question, options, reasoning and approver together. An approval trail separates preparation from authority. A workflow package gives the next related workflow a proven skeleton.
Availability: operating-memory foundations, objective hierarchy and autonomy controls are live. Evidence rooms, approval trails and workflow packages are available in selected workflows. Decision rooms are in private preview.
What changes
The architecture changes how work accumulates. Procedural preparation can happen before a person opens the review, while people keep their existing channels and systems. Decisions arrive with sources, assumptions, open questions and the approver attached, making review and challenge easier to follow.
Over time, a correction can alter the next run, a verified belief can become shared capacity and a workflow that has earned its boundary can become a capability another team calls. Each run leaves context that is trusted enough, scoped enough and relevant enough to help the next one begin better.
